thyme is  intensely aromatic with a very strong taste.

In Greek cuisine, it is added as a spice to meatballs, stuffed vegetables, meat, poultry, and pies.

Thyme can generally be used  with meat (chicken, beef, rabbit) cooked in tomato and wine sauce and can also be used in  soups, roasts and sauces.

It can even be used for  pastry shop.


Some medicinal properties : 

  • helps  for sore throat, cough and cold.
  • against gum infections
  • stimulates digestion, relieves bloating
  • helps against lethargy and stress
  • antiseptic
  • Thyme compresses promote the healing process of wounds and help against itching and insect bites

  • After opening / use the glass jar tightly closed  store in a dark dry place. The kitchen cupboard is an excellent storage place for herbs.
